Position Overview

The amount that Sage pays for “individual” and “family” benefits is equal to additional hourly pay of $1.71 and $5.27 respectively.

This individual is a part of the corporate operations team and as such is the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from Operations team. Attend to plant users to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware or software problems that need immediate attention.

  • Evaluates processes to determine cost effective solution for support. Actively seeks continuous improvements to increase machine utilization and decrease operator idle time. Participates in new program development to determine requirements for implementation. Script development, program development, app development, Blancco workflow.
  • Evaluates equipment to determine best application of hardware to maximize product throughput. Observe work cells and areas to ensure ergonomic practices are being utilized to reduce operator fatigue.
  • Respond to Operations team technical inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges. Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved.
  • Works closely with Technical Training department to create training materials pertaining to, test procedures, work aids / work instructions to troubleshoot, test and data sanitize client equipment.  
  • Monitors ticket requests and provides first level response in resolution where possible. Directs and assigns as needed. MRM, Blancco, Demand Management, DPK.
  • Develops maintains and supports onsite service programs as required. Blancco mobile, LUN application, Hardware design.
  • Supports all areas of Sage at assigned location as may be required to support customer and company needs.
  • Contributes to the development and ongoing improvement of the culture / systems / and processes in support of the Sage Credo.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in technology related field, or equivalent related experience
  • Three+ years’ experience in a technology related field troubleshooting 
    2 years’ process development, documentation and training
  • Extensive knowledge of installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical equipment (servers, laptops, desktops, phone, mobile, networking, printers, office equipment)
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in various forms (written, oral or diagram)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, compile findings, and execute resolution within a timely manner to maintain production flow
  • Ability to research and develop technical solution; make recommendations to management
  • Strong communication skills; written, verbal, comprehension and ability to communicate technical jargon in a layman terms
  • Self-starter, team-oriented, and excellent attention to detail
  • Results oriented individual, who demonstrates urgency, ownership, and personal accountability
  • Ability to travel to other sites or customer locations (10% of time)
  • Ability to lift 50 lb’s or more 
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an ITAD environment
  • Previous experience in a logistics / warehouse / production facility
  • Technology vendor certifications
