Essential Functions:

• Responsible for providing direction and guidance to  the  Network and Server area
• Create operational reporting to update the team
• Evaluate electronic assets and determine value based on physical and operational condition
• Properly sanitize, test, repair and configure multiple types of server equipment
• Upgrade products through the addition of new hardware inventory
• Install operating system to computer products per procedure
• Diagnose common server problems and  remove and replace failed components like hard drives, power supplies. RAM and RAID batteries
• Harvest, test, handle and package internal server components from failed servers for repair and resale
• Locate, identify and record various network device manufacturers, types, model and serial number features and cosmetic conditions
• Enter network device information into the ERP system and attach process logs and wipe records

Competencies:

• Associate degree in a technology field or equivalent experience
• BIOS configuration
• Ability to identify and install PC hardware and peripherals
• Ability to track multiple assets and one time
• Familiarity with asset management/value recovery programs
• Wide range of technical repair/ training
