A chicken in every pot. A car in every garage. Education for every child. Throughout history, leaders have used these tenets to symbolize the right of every person to a safe, productive and meaningful life. Sage’s One For All campaign is reviving this idea for the 21st century:

A quality laptop in every home in America

Four billion people on the planet still lack access to the Internet and the connectivity it offers. According to the 2013 US Census, 18.8 million homes in the US do not have a computer; 83% of these homes earn less than $50,000 each year. Access to online information can measurably improve health, education, employment, social life and many other areas. Used electronics can truly transform individuals, families, underfunded schools, fledgling businesses and struggling communities around the world.

The minimum requirements for One For All donations are:

  • Laptops in working condition
  • Intel Core i5 Processor or better
  • 4 Gigabytes of memory
  • 160 Gigabytes of hard drive storage
  • Battery and AC Power Adapter
